My save games from my old laptop are like.included when I install Morrwind on my new laptop. I uninstalled all mods from the code patch, then deleted the MCP files out of my Morrowind folder, essentially returning it to Vanilla. I can [provide either of these links if anyone needs it. So, I retraced my steps and downloaded the same MCP that I successfully used on my old laptop. I realized that I had download a different/older version of the code patch that wasn't 'as good' for windows 10.
I started to play, and got crashes so I did some thinking/troubleshooting. On my new laptop, I installed Morrowind on steam, then downloaded the code patch via the Nexus mod site. My steam version on my old laptop worked fine with the Morrowind code patch installed. I'll try to give as many details as succinctly as possible: I recently got a new laptop (by far the nicest one I've ever owned) and my Morrowind consistently crashes. I've been playing this game for 20 years, from my parents toaster to Xbox to my old Windows 10 laptop.
